NATA 2020: Exam Pattern
NATA is the entrance exam for architecture admissions. Most entrance exams assess hardcore technical aspects of a candidate for whichever field they want to get into. However, the NATA exam is quite unique, and this field requires creativity as well as technical understanding. Hence the exam is designed to assess the candidates’ skill sets in applications of science, general aptitude, as well as drawing.
The paper timings will be divided into three parts-
| FIRST – Part A|
Test: Drawing Test
Timings: 10 am to 12.15 pm
Duration: 2 hours 15 minutes
Timings: 12.15 pm to 12.30 pm

| SECOND – Part B|
Test: PCM, General Aptitude and Logical Reasoning
Timings: 12.30 pm to 1.15 pm

NATA 2020: Entrance Examination
The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) measures the aptitude of the applicant for a specific field of study, i.e. Architecture. The test measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability that have been acquired over a long period of time, and that are related to a specific field of study, i.e. Architecture.
Through NATA, candidates can take admission in the 5-year B.Arch course. The test consists of two parts; Part A is a drawing test whereas, Part B is a computer-based test that has multiple-choice questions from PCM, Logical Reasoning and General Aptitude.
